Policy Purpose
Electronic communications are integral to SOSILE E-COMMERCE LTD’s business operations since we do our transactions online. This policy intends to optimize the benefits of using electronic communications while protecting the company and our employees from the unauthorized use of the systems involving electronic communication. We may post an updated version of this policy, which will be effective once we post it on our website.
By using the electronic communication resources of SOSILE E-COMMERCE LTD, you provide us with legal consent stating your willingness to receive documents, agreements, notices, disclosures, and other forms of communication via electronic means, in connection with your SOSILE E-COMMERCE LTD account. These include the following:
- Company policies and agreements (including the updated versions)
- Company receipts or proof of transactions
- Your account statement and history
- All statements and information the Federal and State law requires us to make available
These terms are collectively called Communications and are made available to you on our website, your account notifications, and the email address registered on your account.
Authorized Usage
SOSILE E-COMMERCE LTD emphasizes that the sole purpose of our electronic communications systems is to facilitate our business operations and transactions. Hence, employees and account owners are NOT permitted to use these systems for personal agenda or recreational purposes. Failure to comply with the authorized use of these systems will result in the termination of access privilege and (possibly) disciplinary action.
Updating Contact Details
As an account owner, part of your primary responsibility is to ensure the primary email address registered on your account is up to date, especially since SOSILE E-COMMERCE LTD uses this email address to communicate with you electronically. Hence, you recognize that if we send you an electronic Communication, but fail to receive such due to reasons (like registering an email that’s either incorrect, out of date, blocked by your service provider, or any other reason), SOSILE E-COMMERCE LTD will be deemed to have sent you the Communication. Please be also aware that you must add us to your email address book if your device uses a spam filter.
You may update your registered email address or home address at any time. The update feature is available on your account’s “Settings” tab. In the event your email becomes invalid with our Communications sent back to us, we shall place your account on hold, halting your account from having any transaction privileges from our company. You may regain transactions once you present us with an up-to-date and working email address.
Requesting Paper Copies of the Electronic Communications Policy
We provide the option to request a physical copy of SOSILE E-COMMERCE LTD’s Electronic Communications Policy if you wish to receive one after you consent to accept electronic Communications from us. You have a period of 180 days (after you first receive a Communication from us) to request a paper copy of our policy. We shall send the physical copy by mailing it to you via U.S. mail at the home address registered on your account. Upon request for a copy, you provide us with consent to charge you a fee for us to complete your request.
